Created to Create

I am so happy you are here!

I hope this is a place you can come to for inspiration, motivation, and encouragement.

Life throws us some serious curveballs (hello 2020!).

This last year I have realized just how important it is to create special moments out of the ordinary every day.

Over the past two years, my life has changed dramatically.

Starting life over at 45.

Only seeing my children every other week.

Struggling to find work during a worldwide pandemic.

But with every struggle, new strength has been found.

I so desperately wanted to do it all right.

Be strong for my children.

Have the perfect house, the perfect job, the perfect life.

Quickly I realized that all this pressure and expectation I was laying on myself only produced the opposite.

Overworked, stressed out, exhausted and disappointed.

Then the Lord reminded me of my worth.

Through His eyes, not my own.

Slowly, through lots of self-reflection, counseling, and grace.

I found my worth in my teaching.

Kingdom Kids was created this past year.

God has given me a vision for each of my children.

Each one is unique, special, and strong in its own way.

I wanted a way to show them how much they mean to me and to the Lord.

But how?

I only see them 50% of the time.

It was hard enough finding time to spend with them one on one when I had them 100% of the time as a SAHM.

Now I am working full time, only have them half the time and they are unique and need different ways of connecting.

So Kingdom Kids Creations was born.

I began teaching with Outschool  in September 2020.

I started with a simple plant class and Superhero feelings class.

It began to morph into something bigger.

A Character Camp.

A class and curriculum that helps children discover their worth, all the wonderful things they are made of.

With each class I created and taught I realized not only were they characteristics important for my students to learn, they were also important for me and my children to learn.

Kingdom Kids Creations was created because of my three amazing Kingdom Kids.

They are my everything.

They are my why.

They inspire me daily to be my best and give my best to the world around me.

That’s why I am here.

Through the simple act of making a family movie night extraordinary to DIY projects that bring us closer as a family.

I hope this becomes a place you can see that no matter what life throws at you, you were created for more.

I am excited to have you along for the ride.
